Steele's - Where every buy is a steal!
Steele's was launched as a division of Stage Stores Inc. in 2012. The first stores opened in Beeville, Texas, Bastrop, Louisiana and Minden, Louisiana. It operates as its own stand alone buying division and is based in New York City, headed by president Lisa Seigies. Stage Stores Inc. was founded in 1920 and operates over 800 consumer retail stores nationwide under several brands, such as Goody's, Bealls and Peebles. They decided to expand and introduce an off-price concept into their portfolio of department stores and thus Steele's was born.
