The retailer exceeded 1000 stores in 1999 and today has over 2,200 stores worldwide. There are around 125 distribution and fulfillment centers around the world. Annual revenue exceeded $25 billion in 2010 and as of 2012 the company had over 50,000 employees. The company is now based in Framingham, Massachusetts.
