Harveys Supermarket is a grocery retail chain that offers a variety of products and services. Harveys - Southern pride
Harveys was founded in 1950 by Joe Harvey in Nashville, Georgia. The company grew to 22 different store locations by 1981, and was acquired by the Delhaize Group in 2003. The retailer has 69 store locations as of 2010, and the current COO and Vice President is Tom Robinson. The company headquarters is located in Nashville, Georgia. Most store locations are around 20,000 square feet and have many different departments. The retailer's warehouse and distribution center was closed in 2006, and is supported instead by sister brand Food Lion's distribution centers in South Carolina and Florida.
