Tips for shopping in Wilmington
Located near the point where the Christina River meets Brandywine Creek, Wilmington is the largest city in the state of Delaware. The area was first colonized by Swedish settlers, which perhaps explains why the city's residents have retained the distinctively Swedish yellow cross against a blue background as their flag. The city is known for its business-friendly tax and financial laws, which helped make the city an enticing place for multinationals to locate their headquarters. This in turn helped it acquire the nickname of the “Corporate Capital of the World”. The city has a zoo, four parks, and plenty of galleries and museums. There are also many great places to shop, such as Concord Mall, which contains a host of your favorite retailers, including Macy's, Gamestop, Victoria's Secret and many more.
